Cyber Operation Specialist

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, or Science (Computer Studies).
• Experience: A minimum of three years’ cumulative work experience in at least one of the following roles: Cyber Defense Incident Responder, Cyber Incident Responder, ICT Security Operations Analyst, or ICT Threat Monitoring Analyst.
• Certifications: Possessing relevant certifications is an added advantage.Certified AppSec Practitioner (CAP), eLearnSecurity Certified Digital ForensicsProfessional (eCDFP), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (AWSССР), eLearnSecurity Junior Penetration Tester (eJPT), CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), Cisco Certified Network Associate CyberOps (CCNA Cyber Ops)

• Perform real-time analysis and trending of security log data from various security devices and systems.
• Maintain data sources feeding the log monitoring system, develop and maintain detection and alerting rules.
• Respond to user incident reports and evaluates the type and severity of security events.
• Execute initial triage of incidents to rule out false positives.
• Identify recurring security issues and risks and develops mitigation plans and recommends process improvements.
• Interpret and apply security policies and procedures.
• Establish escalation processes for security incidents and develops contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures.
