Description:
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple cyber security projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure all projects are aligned with BAT’s strategic objectives and cyber security policies.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks/issues and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Resource Allocation: Help to allocate resources effectively to ensure project success, including team members, budget, and technology.
- Compliance: Ensure projects comply with relevant internal governance and policies.
- Reporting: Develop and present regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements, risks, and recommendations.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including cybersecurity experts, IT staff, and external vendors.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination among team members and stakeholders.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Proven experience in managing complex cybersecurity projects.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on assessing, designing, and delivering cyber projects
- Self-motivated and results focused; ability to strengthen the team and its mission.
TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL / LEADERSHIP SKILLS REQUIRED
- Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:
WHAT ARE THE KEY OBJECTIVES AND EXPECTATIONS FROM THIS ROLE?
Reporting to the Deputy CISO and partnering with the broader Digital Business Solutions (DBS) and Cyber Resilience organization. The Cyber Project Management Officer (Cyber PMO) is responsible for overseeing and managing cybersecurity projects across BAT and are aligned with our company’s strategic goals and executed efficiently and effectively. This role involves coordinating and leading efforts to implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and ensuring compliance with internal policies.
