We are searching for a passionate and experienced Cyber Security Analyst to help strengthen and protect our organisation against cyber threats. About The Role As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organisation’s data and systems. You will be responsible for monitoring and analysing security alerts, responding to incidents, implementing security controls, and managing security platforms. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks while contributing to the delivery of Kelsian’s Cyber Security Strategy and Roadmap. Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain technical cybersecurity platforms across IT and OT environments.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, recommending and implementing remediation strategies.
- Manage identity and access management (IAM) policies to ensure secure and appropriate access across all systems.
- Evaluate and implement new security tools and technologies to enhance security posture.
- Develop, document, and implement security procedures in alignment with industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and PCI DSS.
- Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, risk assessments, and audit findings.
- Collaborate with IT teams to uplift their understanding of security standards, principles, and best practices.
- Lead the resolution of security-related issues.
About You We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Cyber Security Analyst with a passion for protecting organisational data and systems. You will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and standards, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in our security operations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Cyber Security (or equivalent experience).
- Industry-recognised certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, tools, and technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, EDR, IDS/IPS).
- Experience in managing security controls and systems within a complex organisation.
- Experience with identity and access management solutions including Active Directory / Entra, Okta, SSO, and MFA.
- Experience with developing and implementing effective vulnerability management strategies and processes.
- Familiarity with network protocols, cloud security, encryption technologies, and Next Gen SIEM platforms.
- A technical background in infrastructure or networking (desirable).
- Passion for cybersecurity and awareness of current industry trends.
