Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Cyber Security Analyst will be the primary operational cyber security staff member for RDP. The primary purpose of the role is to reduce the risk of a major cyber incident at RDP while significantly shortening the detection and containment time of cyber incidents that occur. To support this overall goal the incumbent will recommend policy and standard components, develop staff awareness of cyber security through the cyber security program, manage and monitor technical threat detection, analysis, and control systems, and act quickly to contain breaches when they occur.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Two (2) years of post-secondary training, completion of a community college certificate including trades apprenticeships or equivalent.
1-2 Years of experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Four (4) year undergraduate degree, or three (3) year undergraduate degree plus one full additional year of university in a related program representing four years of study or equivalent.
