Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly experienced Cyber Security Consultant with over 10 years of expertise in incident management, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing. The ideal candidate will lead the identification and remediation of security threats, ensuring the implementation of best practices to safeguard our infrastructure. This role requires hands-on experience with security monitoring tools, strong knowledge of threat intelligence, and a collaborative approach to working with IT teams to enhance our cybersecurity posture.
Responsibilities:Incident Management:
- Lead the monitoring and response to security events and incidents, establishing and refining processes for efficient handling.
- Enforce and improve security policies and procedures by overseeing security profile administration and monitoring.
- Manage security event feeds and SIEM systems, taking appropriate actions to mitigate threats as per company security policies.
- Oversee e-discovery, forensics, and investigative techniques to support complex internal investigations.
- Conduct in-depth root cause analysis on security incidents, providing strategic recommendations to close security gaps.
- Stay updated with emerging security trends, vulnerabilities, and cyber threats to ensure a proactive approach to risk management.
- Cultivate a culture of excellence, professionalism, and integrity within the security team.
- Review and assess threat analysis activities, identifying critical trends and areas for improvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on consulting roles across diverse industries.
- Expertise in incident management, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and risk mitigation.
- Proficiency in SIEM systems, forensic analysis, and various security monitoring tools.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, threat intelligence, and the latest industry trends.
- Effective communicator with the ability to provide strategic insights to senior stakeholders.
