Description:

SUMMARY:

A3 is seeking a Cybersecurity Developer with knowledge and hands‐on experience with Security Software Development to provide Information Assurance, Configuration Management, and Security Engineering support to include STIG configuration. The ideal candidate must have excellent technical skills to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment and good communication and interpersonal skills to work in a customer-focused team environment. Candidate will be a member of an experienced project team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar preferred
  • 5+ years in Cybersecurity
  • Experience with Information Assurance, Configuration Management, and Security Engineering support to include STIG configuration.
  • Experience with DevSecOps pipeline tools including configuration management, requirements, automated testing and automated deployments
  • Certified Application Security Engineer (CASE) Certification or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) Certification
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certification or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
  • Experience working in around Federal Government

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Create security technologies to protect sensitive information and systems
  • Update existing applications and programs to enhance their security features,
  • Integrate security protocols into existing software applications and programs to safeguard against potential threats
  • Lead the process of software design, implementation and testing to ensure robust protection
  • Develop comprehensive software security strategies
  • Implement, test and operate advanced security techniques within software systems
  • Facilitate meetings to understand and define clients’ security requirements
  • Actively participate in the entire development lifecycle of software systems, from inception to deployment
  • Advise team members on best practices for secure programming
  • Investigate and identify flaws in software systems to improve security
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to support software security efforts

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Experience in cloud computing including concepts, capabilities, and applications as they relate to storage, processing, and dissemination and overall security
  • Ability to work in environment with little supervision while understanding how to prioritize and stay engaged
