Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join the Land 4140 Project.
The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for providing accurate, contemporary subject matter expertise to Project Managers, Project Sponsors and the wider CASG and Army engineering teams.
The Cyber Security Engineer will exercise a considerable degree of independence and collaborate across a complex, long-term, iterative, interconnected, integration program. They will exercise sound decision-making and judgement to contribute to delivery of capability in line with stakeholder requirements.
They will contribute to strategic planning, project planning, activity co-ordination and communication with internal and external stakeholders. Specifically, the position will provide specialist advice to help scope, plan, test and integrate engineering designs for future capability enhancements and configuration baselines.

  • Cyber Security Management Plans
  • Cyber Security Threat Risk Assessments
  • Business Impact Level assessments
  • Defining cyber worthiness requirements
  • Project security risk management plans (cyber inputs)
  • Providing SME input into and reviewing System Overview Documents
  • Reviewing DISP controls and accreditation for PIP & Delivery Panellists
  • Drafting and reviewing Supply Chain Risk Management Plans (SCRMP)
  • Reviewing System Security Plans
  • Reviewing and providing SME input into System SOPs
  • Assisting and reviewing System Configuration Management Plans.
  • Oversee activities conducted by the Project Integration Partner.
  • Input and review of TEMPs, review of user needs (OCDs/UNS) requirements (FPS/SoR) technical certification, system accreditation (authority to operate), and T&E (inclusive of V&V) for 56 work packages across the nine capability elements (CEs).
  • Conduct bench top red team/blue team exercises (i.e. penetration tests and vulnerability assessments) on candidate hardware.
  • Working collaboratively with the Cyber Security Cell to align on relevant governance processes, policies and frameworks
