The Opportunity
Are you ready to make a significant impact in Cybersecurity? We are expanding our Cybersecurity team and looking for a talented Cybersecurity Engineering Specialist to play a crucial role in our organization, with a focus on the ANZ region.
This is an exceptional opportunity to shape and enhance our global cybersecurity capabilities while customizing solutions to meet the unique needs of the ANZ business landscape.

As a vital member of our team, you will:

  • Establish and align security requirements for ANZ projects with the Global Cyber Security landscape.
  • Develop and validate cyber security requirements and architectures across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments for both IT and OT.
  • Identify, plan, and deliver projects to enhance cyber security posture and implement new technologies in the ANZ region.
  • Hands on reviews/audits of applications, infrastructure and operating environment to highlight cyber security risks with specific recommendations for resolution.
  • Coordinate with ICT Applications to manage pen-testing, review findings, and develop remediation tasks.
  • Review cloud service configurations to ensure they follow the principle of minimum privilege and have no misconfigurations.
  • Contribute to ACCIONA’s ANZ cyber security roadmap, ensuring alignment with global objectives and staying current with emerging threats and best practices.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Possess deep technical expertise and hands on experience in IT infrastructure, network and network security design, vulnerability management, security architecture, and secure software design.
  • Perform both black box and white box penetration testing as needed.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of Secure Software Development and DevSecOps.
  • Ability to collaborate with ICT managers, platform engineers, software developers, and vendors, leveraging a strong technical background and experience with cybersecurity technologies.
  • Possess cyber security , architecture and/or cloud certifications
  • An excellent problem solver and communicator; with ability to navigate complex organisational and technology environments
