This is an exciting opportunity to join our Cyber Security team as we begin to implement the next phase of our multi-layered cyber defence environment at Kingston University. Our vision is for IT to be a valued business partner, providing innovative secure services to 17,000 students and 2000 staff. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will be involved in all aspects of cloud security within the organisation, operation and support of key security systems and services that underpin the protection of Kingston’s digital services, infrastructure, data and users.
As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will use your extensive expertise to help maintain and secure our environment. You will contribute to the day-to-day management of Information and Cyber Security operations. You will also work closely with IT teams to secure the technology and develop/update security standards and policies to safeguard our digital services, ensuring they are secure and fit for purpose enabling the University to deliver its strategy.
