Key Qualification/Experience required:

  • It is a mandatory requirement, that you hold the following qualifications or equivalents

A Professional qualification in a framework or standard that incorporates Cybersecurity Threat Intel management.

  • It is a mandatory requirement, that you have the equivalent of four years of Cybersecurity experience with demonstrable experience of Threat Intel management .
  • Demonstrable experience of threat Intel management in an environment that is ISO or NIST aligned.
  • Experience of penetration testing involving any or all the following:
  • Web application (Java, PHP, Angular)
  • Infrastructure (network, windows, Linux, database)
  • API / Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Experience of the application of the MITRE Att&ck framework.
  • Evidence of compliance experience with laws or standards.
  • Report writing and delivery of results.
  • Working as part of a team to deliver cross discipline projects.
  • Experience of working in a secure datacentre or Fintech environment.Experience of working with Cloud environments

Responsibilities:

Our client is looking to establish a Cybersecurity posture management team including the role of Cybersecurity Threat Intel Officer to deal with external organisations and ongoing internal communications. There is a requirement for strong analytical skills as well as an awareness of the threat landscape across the client technical stack as well as how interactions between threats can indicate increased risk .
You will be required to provide analysis and assessment of threat intel in a format that can be consumed by other services . The role is also responsible for ensuring internal compliance with security best practice and relevant legal and standard requirements . This is a technical role with a requirement for hands on assessment and will work closely with the Cybersecurity Risk Officer .

The Responsibilities of the Role and the activities that will be required are as follows:

  • Threat Intel vendor management
  • Threat Intel processing
  • Security related Legislative Compliance advisory
  • Internal Policy advisory
  • Regular Technical Testing on internal systems
  • Internal Test management
  • Client Risk Posture management (Risk and Vulnerability management)
  • Project input

You will be based in the Dublin 2 office and required to attend the office on-site for 1/2 to days per week .
This will be a two-year contract initially with the option to then extend for another two years thereafter. You must be available to provide services from the commencement date of the services estimated to be 24/02/2025 .

Role & Responsibilities:

  • A threat intel management platform both for external feeds to be processed and an internal source of threat intel for stakeholders.
  • Delivery of accurate and relevant alerts to stakeholders with appropriate level of priority.
  • Prioritisation of security testing based on observed intel and Risk Model details.
  • Periodic reporting on Cybersecurity Posture with the client.
  • Develop and maintain a Cybersecurity threat profile to assist in Risk analysis.
