Description:
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
State Street seeks to recruit a Cyber Security Vulnerability Analyst for its Vulnerability Management Rapid Response team. This role includes actioning and leading response strategies in our vulnerability management organization and providing relevant reporting to stakeholders. This position requires advanced collaboration and organizational skills, analytic skills, rapid response abilities, attention to detail and information technology expertise to protect the bank’s assets. EDUCATION & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of information security experience
- Knowledge of server and client operating systems
- 2+ years of experience within a vulnerability management role
- Understanding of how to triage vulnerabilities and triage tool findings
- Knowledge of IT architecture and operations (computing, network, storage & cloud)
- Ability to work in an environment with a geographically dispersed team
- Security certification a plus
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- On-call rotation
- 24x7 response
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Establish processes and capabilities to respond to critical vulnerabilities and vulnerability risk that impacts State Street
- Enhance and perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments across the enterprise, rapidly evaluating risk as new vulnerabilities are discovered
- Evaluate State Street’s broader vulnerability risk, designing strategies for reducing and mitigating in both near and long term
- Work closely with business units to understand people, process, and technology in order to build effective vulnerability management strategies
- Collaborate within our team of experienced vulnerability management analysts
- Provide training, informational and educational materials to impacted employees
- Identify and report security risks and exposures
