JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s degree in IT (cybersecurity) or a relevant field (proven self-taught experience is also considered).
  • Strong teamwork, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proactive, self-starting attitude; willingness to go beyond your role.
  • Technical skills: data source normalization, automation creation, data mining/analytical automation, data correlation workflows (e.g., using Python/BASH).
  • Continuous learning mindset; ability to thrive outside your comfort zone.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • A resident of The Netherlands

Responsibilities:

As a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst, you play a pivotal role in helping Northwave as the current leader in risk-based, intel-driven cyber security. This is a diverse role where you will be helping both Northwave and our clients with continuous insights in the current threat landscape, enabling well informed decision-making. With your up-to-date knowledge you provide crucial input for mitigating cyber threats and risks. Furthermore, you assist our Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) during incidents by providing them with the intelligence needed.
