Description:
Cyber Threat Intelligence Lead
Are you an experienced Cyber Threat Intelligence professional looking for your next career milestone? If so, you could be the Cyber Threat Intelligence Lead our client is looking for! The Cyber Threat Intelligence Lead is responsible for developing and executing the organisation’s cyber threat intelligence program. This includes collecting, analysing, and disseminating actionable threat intelligence to proactively identify and mitigate potential cyber threats. The role requires a deep understanding of the threat landscape, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyse threat data from various sources (e.g., open source, commercial feeds, security tools).
- Develop and maintain threat profiles, indicators of compromise (IOCs), and attack patterns.
- Produce timely and relevant threat intelligence reports and briefings.
- Collaborate with security teams (e.g., incident response, security operations) to integrate threat intelligence into security operations.
- Proactively hunt for potential threats within the organization’s network.
- Evaluate and recommend new threat intelligence tools and technologies.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.
- Mentor and guide junior threat intelligence analysts (if applicable).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in cyber threat intelligence, with experience managing a team of cyber threat intelligence analysts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of threat intelligence platforms and tools.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., GIAC, CISSP) are a plus.
