Ocean Infinity is seeking a talented and motivated Cybersecurity Analyst with broad cybersecurity skills that works to minimize the impact of a material cyber incident to the Ocean Infinity enterprise. The role reports directly to the Director of Cybersecurity and Compliance.
What will you do:
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity tickets, coordinating with IT and other teams to address access control, intrusion detection, malware defence, and vulnerability management;
- Conduct and document risk assessments, testing cybersecurity controls for effectiveness;
- Lead cybersecurity drills and awareness talks to improve security readiness across the organization;
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies, tracking any exceptions;
- Analyse threat intelligence and provide timely updates on potential threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents;
- Collaborate with IT and other teams on anomaly detection, disaster recovery, and remediation efforts;
- Deploy and manage detection tools to identify and respond to threats across Armada vessels and the enterprise;
- Deliver presentations to management and user groups, simplifying technical information for actionable insights.
Who you are:
- 4+ years of experience in IT or security operations, including vulnerability management, red teaming, or incident response;
- BS/BA in computer science, information security, cybersecurity, or equivalent experience demonstrating strong technical expertise;
- Effective communicator across digital platforms, excelling in remote environments while staying organized and adaptable to evolving threats.
Experience and skills that are required for this role:
- Strong technical and hands-on experience with help desk operations, SOC tools, and support roles;
- Proficient in one or more cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, IEC, CIS, ATT&CK, BIMCO, IACS);
- Task-oriented and able to execute tasks efficiently, both remotely and onsite;
- Skilled in conducting cybersecurity risk assessments and security tests;
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with advanced proficiency in O365;
- Strong written and verbal English communication, capable of producing reports for both technical and non-technical audiences;
- Able to work independently with limited supervision;
- Willing to travel up to 25%, domestically and internationally.

Desirable:
- Proficiency in additional cybersecurity tools, such as threat hunting, EDR, or cloud security platforms;
- Experience securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP);
- Certifications like CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+;
- Multilingual skills are an advantage for working with global teams;
- Industry-specific knowledge in sectors like maritime or ICS;
- Experience with automation/scripting (Python, PowerShell);
- Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms (TIPs) for strategic threat analysis is desirable.
Salary for the Position: Up to £50,000 per annum.
Salary: The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.
