CyberSecurity Analyst
Location: Dublin
As part of our continuing growth and we are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the Principal Technology Officer, the Security Analyst will have a background in the governance of cybersecurity through process and the application of technology to ensure security requirements are met.
You will work on securing medical devices and cloud solutions. The applications will range from “wellness” applications to Class III devices such as implantable devices. Outputs from the work will be used to submit to Medical Device Regulators and ensure the continued secure operation of live devices and applications.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

  • Graduate of Computer Studies/Science/Cybersecurity
  • Experience of security testing suites for web applications or device including penetration and fuzz testing.
  • Good knowledge of operating systems, firewall, intrusion detection and encryption methods.
  • Knowledge of FDA Cybersecurity Standards such as FDAs Cybersecurity in Medical Devices (Sept 2023)
  • Pro-active, open, teamwork approach
  • Structured and diligent approach to work
  • Good spoken and written English

EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS IS ADVANTAGEOUS:

  • Technology Consulting.
  • Healthcare.
  • Exposure to software development & design process.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer facing role in which you will be required to engage creatively with the customer, identify their security issues and creatively solve their problems.
  • Apply cybersecurity risk management procedures including threat modelling, asset identification and mitigations for S3CH products and services.
  • Understanding of Security Standards e.g. ISO27001, IEC81001-5-1 and how they apply to development and service operation.
  • Understanding of Privacy legislation (HIPAA/HITECH, GDPR etc) and how they apply to products and services.
  • Periodic Testing and Assessment of applications to enable continual security improvement.
  • Advise on security architecture and infrastructure and review new architectures.
  • Conduct investigations into security incidents and evaluate security controls in place.
