Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION:


  • You will join the Client’s team as a Cybersecurity Analyst with a focus on offboard systems for connected vehicles. This role involves protecting Client’s services from cyber threats. You will monitor Client’s offboard perimeter, analyze potential threats, and implement strategies to mitigate risks to cloud services, mobile applications, and cybersecurity related processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information technology, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE WITH SECURITY ASSESSMENT TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES, SUCH AS PENETRATION TESTING, VULNERABILITY SCANNING, AND RISK ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGIES.

  • Proficient in analyzing and interpreting logs and alerts from various security tools.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM) are a plus.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits of offboard systems to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats.
  • Monitor external digital assets for signs of intrusion, malware, and unauthorized access attempts.
  • Manage and coordinate external security pentests conducted by the company’s red team or third parties.
  • Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all offboard systems.
  • Develop and maintain the company’s incident response plan for offboard systems, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to manage and mitigate cybersecurity incidents.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies affecting the automotive industry and offboard systems.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures for managing the security of offboard systems.
  • Work with suppliers and partners to ensure their systems and services meet our cybersecurity standards.
  • Prepare regular reports for management on the status, threats, and security health of offboard systems, security audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks for all offboard systems and networks.

3+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN A CYBERSECURITY ANALYST ROLE, WITH A FOCUS ON EXTERNAL-FACING SYSTEMS PREFERRED.

  • Strong understanding of network security, cloud security, and application security best practices.
