As part of the Expleo Digital and Emerging Technology (DET) team, you will report to the ASD Cyber Lead.
Within the Cybersecurity Practice, you will be part of a dynamic and passionate team. You will work on a complex and captivating project integrating the latest technological solutions and trends.
This is a customer-facing role which will provide you with the opportunity to work with emerging technologies and cutting-edge products in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Cybersecurity Consultancy advice on products and systems for UK MoD and suppliers, working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies and solutions tailored to client needs, including adherence to Defence Policy, NATO policy, IMO, Secure by Design principles, Risk Ledger, JSPs, and other relevant frameworks.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses, proposing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of secure network architectures and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
  • Perform security audits and assessments, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cybersecurity measures are integrated seamlessly into projects.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to clients on best practices in cybersecurity.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continually enhance service offerings.
  • Support the growth of Expleo’s Cybersecurity Practice through conference attendance, publications, and workshop participation.
  • Travel to client sites as required to provide on-site consultancy and support.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant education or industry-recognised certifications in computing-related subjects suited to a senior role in Cybersecurity (MSc, BSc, GIAC, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CASP+, CySA+, Security+, CC).

Essential skills:

  • Demonstrable experience with industry frameworks and standards, including UK government, public and private sector standards such as ISO 27001, NIS Directives, NIST, and UK Government Standards.
  • Familiarity with Defence Policy, NATO policy, IMO guidelines, Secure by Design principles, and Risk Ledger.
  • Awareness and understanding of Cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.
  • Understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Knowledge of emerging cybersecurity threats and trends.
  • Proficiency in network security principles and practices, including firewall configurations, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and secure network design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrable experience managing and coordinating diverse stakeholders with both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
  • Ability to produce reports, both written and verbal, to senior stakeholders, including customers and non-specialists.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Dedication to excellence and quality.
  • Ability to demonstrate and articulate the value of cyber security investment.

Desired skills:

  • Understanding of Systems Engineering.
  • Experience with specific cybersecurity challenges and solutions in the defence, space, aerospace, public sector, or marine sectors.
  • Experience as a commissioned officer or senior NCO in HM Armed Forces.
  • Project management experience.
  • DV Clearance (or eligibility to achieve such).

Experience:

  • Proven experience in roles requiring GRC expertise in Cybersecurity.
  • Experienced in designing, delivering, and deploying cyber outcomes, solutions, and services.
  • Experienced in leading successful GRC/Cybersecurity projects.
  • Managing and coordinating diverse stakeholders with both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
