Description:

Our client, a prominent bank, is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Officer to join their “Cybersecurity” unit. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the bank’s cybersecurity policy in line with DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) requirements. Your mission will be to establish cybersecurity standards, translate them into actionable security measures, and ensure their effective implementation within the IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and refine encryption processes to enhance data protection and ensure compliance with DORA standards.
  • Assess and implement strong authentication mechanisms to safeguard access to critical systems and sensitive data.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive security patch program to promptly address and mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Set up and maintain monitoring protocols to detect, report, and address suspicious activities and security breaches.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of cybersecurity procedures and processes in compliance with DORA regulations.
  • Develop and oversee a DORA Testing program.
  • Design and implement a cyberattack recovery plan to ensure rapid and efficient response to cyber incidents.
  • Work closely with IT, CISO, and compliance teams to ensure cohesive and effective implementation of cybersecurity measures.
  • University degree with 3-5 years of experience in managing IT security on a day-to-day basis.
  • Deep understanding of application and infrastructure architectures.
  • Ready to handle security incidents and proficient in scripting languages to automate daily tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a passion for tackling complex challenges.
  • Analytical and synthetic thinking, pragmatism, collaboration, adaptability, and strong communication skills are essential.
  • Autonomous, dynamic, and rigorous in your work, with the ability to propose the best solutions to meet business needs.
  • Fluent in both French and English, with excellent persuasive skills to advocate for your initiatives.

Technical Competencies:

  • Solid knowledge of security standards (ISO 27001/2, PCI-DSS, NIST, etc.).
  • Certifications such as GSEC, GCIH, CISSP, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Strong command of TCP/IP, SSL/TLS protocols.
  • Expertise in one or more scripting languages.
  • Proficiency in security tools such as Checkpoint, Fortinet, F5 Big IP, and Qradar.
  • Detailed understanding of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography.
  • Familiarity with antivirus products is a plus.
  • Broad understanding of Windows, Active Directory, Azure AD, Linux, and OpenLDAP systems.
