Dawson College is currently seeking candidates for teaching in a NEW AEC program in Cybersecurity: Prevention & Intervention. In addition to your regular teaching duties, your responsibilities would include:

• Involvement in pedagogical days organized by the College
• Participation in departmental meetings
• Involvement in student-focused activities such as field trips, competitions, and year-end Graduate Exhibition.
• Performing other department related administrative duties

Required Qualifications :

• University degree in Computer Science, or related field, and 1 year experience working in the field of Cybersecurity or a DEC / AEC in IT or Cybersecurity with a minimum of 3 years of working experience in the field. Master’s Degree is an asset.
• Excellent English communication skills
• Teaching experience at the college level an asset
• Industry Certifications, such as the following, are an asset:

CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional
Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate
Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security)
CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+)
CompTIA Security +
Certnexus
Cyber Safe
Note: The selection committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and/or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement. Candidates to be considered under this option must have completed at least the equivalent of a College level Diploma (DEC). Education superior to the stated minimum requirement may be substituted for professional / industrial experience at the discretion of the selection committee.
