ROLE PROFILE:

The D&A Third Party Risk Lead will be responsible for the implementation and embedding of the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Policy and its standards across D&A. Reporting to the Director, First Line of Defence D&A, this role will co-ordinate activity across D&A businesses to ensure there is appropriate accountability, awareness and oversight for the robust management of risks associated with their third parties

ROLE SUMMARY:

TPRM is a relatively new field for LSEG and you’ll play a key role in moving that forward. We are looking for a TPRM evangelist, setting the conditions for success, supporting D&A in handling risk and growing resilience and maturing our approach. There will be autonomy, variety and ownership of day-to-day work and opportunities to develop and introduce fresh thinking.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Establish a strong risk culture and awareness of the importance of third party risk management in D&A, through training and active engagement with third party relationship owners and accountable executives.
  • Set our strategy for embedding TPRM policy and drive the delivery of the D&A’s TPRM Plan - bringing both new and existing high risk third parties up to meet LSEG standards
  • Establish first line risk processes, controls and relationships within D&A for risk identification, assessment and monitoring - to support risk-based decisions over our third party population.
  • Embedding appropriate TPRM governance and improving our reporting, MI and risk data (such as Vulnerability Assessments) for our highest risk third parties
  • Define and roll out a TPRM target operating model, through engagement with all areas of D&A and their diverse population of third parties.

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience of Risk Management and controls to ensure compliance with external laws, internal policies, standards, regulations, and industry expectations
  • Self-starter with a desire to deep dive and leverage data
