D365 Financial Functional Analyst

SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of the Finance Functional Analyst is to bridge the gap between functional business requirements and the implementation of D365 ERP for finance processes. The Finance Functional Analyst will work with the business to implement strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and deployment of changes to business processes, systems, roles and responsibilities in the finance area. These responsibilities also include plans and efforts to anticipate and minimize resistant behaviors from employees and stakeholders who are impacted by the changes.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Required skills/competencies:

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in ERP finance and accounting processes
• Functional understanding of Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or Dynamics 365 Finance experience
• Implementation of AX/365 for Finance or have thorough experience as an end user.
• Experience in a global distribution business is highly valued.
• Proven involvement in system and business process transformational projects.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
• Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere.
• Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.

Preferred education/experience:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical studies.
• Dynamics D365 F&O certifications
• Experience working in matrixed environments.

• Improve and model D365 F&O Finance processes.
• Advocate the Azelis best practice financial processes.
• Empower and strengthen the ERP Champions community.
• Author design documentation and assess functional feasibility of the proposed solution.
• Ensure all Finance processes have the appropriate documentation.
• Develop functional scenario-based test scripts.
• Follow up and manage user acceptance testing.
• Help develop and deliver business training and materials on Azelis D365 ERP for finance.
• Provide functional support.

Additional responsibilities may include:

• Assist with change efforts in the finance area with related project teams.
• Evaluate and ensure user readiness for finance area.
• Manage financial system testing - Track and report issues.
• Participate in finance change management processes as required for Azelis Americas initiatives.
