Cleveland Brothers, the largest Cat® dealer in Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia, and western Maryland, has an immediate opportunity for a D365 Technical Architect.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Cleveland Brothers is undergoing its largest digital transformation by transitioning to a Microsoft D365 ERP system to modernize and enhance our business capabilities. We are excited to announce a new role: D365 Technical Architect. This position will own the technical domain of the Microsoft Dynamics environment and its integration with Azure and other applications.
We are seeking a highly motivated D365 Technical Architect to join our team at our Murrysville, PA or Harrisburg, PA corporate office. The D365 Technical Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions and environments using Dynamics 365 F&O and CE. This role will oversee the technical work for the Dynamics environments, mentor team members, and establish best practices for supporting and building these environments in collaboration with our partners.
This position requires a blend of technical and functional skills to ensure the successful deployment and customization of the system to meet our business needs.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  1. Knowledge of configuring Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Customer Engagement, and Supply Chain Management modules, including setup and customization.
  2. Responsible for the overall Integration architecture of the system including requirements gathering, integration strategy, integration designs, coordinating testing, implementation and support.
  3. Responsible for the environments of the D365 Implementation Project including requirements gathering, environments strategy, implementation and ongoing support.
  4. Experience with migrating data from legacy systems to Dynamics 365, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  5. Proficiency in customizing Dynamics 365 to meet specific business requirements, including creating custom entities, workflows, and forms.
  6. Ability to integrate Dynamics 365 with other systems and applications using Azure Service, APIs, middleware, and connectors.
  7. Understanding of Dynamics 365 security models, roles, and permissions to ensure data protection and compliance.
  8. Advanced Skills in creating and managing reports using Dynamics 365’s built-in reporting tools and Power BI.
  9. Advanced knowledge of development tools such as Visual Studio, ALM tools, and scripting languages to include JavaScript, C#, X++ , JSON, XML and SQL for advanced customizations.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

  1. Ability to work with business stakeholders to analyze business processes and requirements, translating them into functional specifications for Dynamics 365.
  2. Experience working with business stakeholders/leaders to optimize business processes/improve efficiency and productivity using Dynamics 365.
  3. Skills in managing implementation projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources and multiple vendors.
  4. Proficiency in training end-users on Dynamics 365, ensuring they can effectively use the system.
  5. Experience in managing organizational change, helping users adapt to new processes and systems.
  6. Ability to provide ongoing support and maintenance for Dynamics 365, troubleshooting issues, and implementing updates.
  7. Understanding of industry-specific requirements and best practices for F&O and CE.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A relevant degree within a computational or business discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX/D365 F&O.
  • Minimum 4 Years of experience working on at least two large-scale ERP implementations.
  • 2 Years of documented Functional experience in standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 FO modules.
  • Six Sigma, PM or Change Management Certification(s) a plus.
  • A Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Core Certification together with a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Certification and a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Certification would be considered an asset.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle, development management, release management, data migrations, cut-over planning and early live support.
  • Thorough knowledge of capabilities of the supporting software in the Microsoft stack (certification is a positive), including:
    o Azure SQL / SQL Server / Common Data Services (CDS)
    o Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents
    o Azure services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus
    o Dynamics 365 products such as Customer Engagement and HR
    o Azure DevOps
    o Lifecycle Services

o Experience of Agile Methodology

  • Proven skills in Data modelling, data governance, data quality management and related business processes. Experience in master data management and data governance delivery would be considered an asset.
  • Experience with integrating and building web APIs and data integration patterns.
  • Expert at providing both out of the box and development solutions in a Microsoft D365 environment.
  • Experience with supporting and integrating with cloud data warehouses. (Snowflake, Databricks, etc).
  • Adept at Business Requirements Analysis with a focus on reducing development effort and simplifying delivery.
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills.
  • Expert business process mapping, modelling and documentation knowledge.
  • Experience leading teams and mentoring junior staff.
