Job Title: Delegated Authority Bordereau Analyst
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 p.a.
Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days a week in the office)

Our client, a leading specialty insurance and reinsurance company, is seeking a Delegated Authority Bordereau Analyst to join their team in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a challenging environment where achievement is rewarded. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the tracking and processing of Bordereau data, providing accurate and timely management information. This role also involves working closely with various teams to ensure data quality and assurance.

What you’ll do:

As a Delegated Authority Bordereau Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to support the tracking and processing of Bordereau data. You will play a crucial role in managing the bordereaux collection process, liaising with Coverholders and Brokers, escalating issues when necessary. Your excellent communication skills will be essential as you maintain relationships with all parties involved. You will also collaborate with Business Partners to guide market bordereau changes and set standards for internal and external reporting. Your keen eye for detail will be invaluable as you review and enhance areas of data improvement in line with Lloyd’s standards.

  • Assist in the management and processing of received bordereau via bordereau management system (BDX)
  • Manage the bordereaux collection process and escalate issues when necessary
  • Maintain effective communication with all parties involved
  • Work with Business Partners to direct market bordereau changes and standards for reporting
  • Review and enhance areas of data improvement in line with Lloyd’s standards
  • Manage and produce bordereaux MI and other Binder/Bordereau reporting required by internal stakeholders
  • Ensure that all process and training documentation is up to date
  • Provide ongoing training and assistance to India team

The ideal candidate for the Delegated Authority Bordereau Analyst position brings a wealth of experience from the London Insurance Market. Your understanding of Lloyd’s delegated bordereau standards coupled with your experience using the BDX bordereau system will be critical to your success in this role. Your collaborative approach to work, strong communication skills, and ability to manage your own workload will be highly valued. A keen eye for detail is essential as you will be required to navigate detailed reports and summarise key information for management.

  • Progression towards ACII preferred or willingness to undertake professional study when in role
  • Understanding of Lloyd’s delegated bordereau standards
  • Experience with BDX bordereau system, including mapping is preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years in the London Insurance Market in an operational, reporting or support role
  • Collaborative approach to working
  • Keen eye for detail, able to navigate detailed reports and summarise key information for management
  • Strong communication skills, with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage own workload, prioritising tasks appropriately
