As a Bowmanville Older Adult Instructor you will be joining a dynamic, diverse and supportive environment for older adults 55+. We are looking for daytime, afternoon or Saturday availability at our 26 Beech location in Bowmanville (2 – 8 hours/week). It is important to us to provide an inclusive and low barrier environment for older adults who may have a range of barriers or challenges that may require flexibility and adaptation.
What you will be doing:
· Facilitate/instruct in person (and sometime virtual) weekly group classes for older adults (55+); class sizes will vary depending on the activity and room size.

Qualifications
· Instructors are required to be certified in various fitness and wellness programming from various certifying bodies including Valid ZUMBA certification to teach ZUMBA and ZUMBA GOLD programs for ZUMBA classes, Certified Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer, Fitness for Seniors Certification an asset
· Demonstrated one to three years’ work experience instructing programs.
· Excellent customer service, communication, organization and problem-solving skills
· Previous experience planning and implementing program plans an asset
· Availability/flexibility to work daytime, later afternoons and/or Saturdays depending on programing dates/times as needed
· Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C certificate or willing to obtain prior to employment
Job Type: Freelance
Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 2 per week
