Job Title: DASS Equipment Engineering: Systems Engineer

Salary: Circa £41,361
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
- A degree in a STEM subject or equivalent with relevant experience gained on an aircraft engineering project or related field
- The ability to develop and present a range of complex data to a variety of stakeholders
- The ability to support tasks across multiple contracts, balancing priorities and workload across a team
- The ability to identify and pro-actively resolve issues impacting programmes, escalating any issues for resolution by exception
- A basic understanding of the ‘V’ lifecycle and its application to the production of qualification requirements and aircraft certification and clearances
Responsibilities:
- Working with the supplier to understand programme status and key issues
- Provide technical input and stakeholder management into Design artifacts
- Support the Final Assembly Line & Flight Development Line to ensure that DASS equipment is available to meet programme requirements
- Support the Final Assembly Line & Flight Development Line to ensure that DASS system issues are understood and are either resolved or concessed where appropriate
- Ensure that relevant EF process’ is visible and adhered to within the supply base
- Support the management of equipment programme plans, status information and issue slide to keep them topical with the latest information to support the team reviews
- Support the supplier bid process through support to the DASS procurement team
