THE SKILLSET
- Proficiency in SQL, Python and familiarity with standard programming and data processing packages
- Analytical, problem solving mindset; Proficiency working with large and complex data sets
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with team members and cross functional product partners, including technical documentation
- Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools
Responsibilities:
As a Data Analyst on the Accounting Analytics team, you will serve as an analytical partner to our Accounting organization and provide data support for business critical processes. You will drive investigations into data discrepancies and provide root cause analysis to ensure we are maintaining consistent data quality. In this role, you will work cross functionally with strategic and technical teams, supporting stakeholders in Accounting, Tax, and Internal Audit, and partnering with Engineering, Data Platform, and Analytics Engineering to further improve our data. You will also have the opportunity to take advantage of new technologies available in Eventbrite’s tech stack such as Snowflake and dbt, and further scale the support and impact of this business critical function.
