Responsibilities:
- As an Arriva Rail London entry level Data Analyst, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skillset to become a specialist in the world of data. As part of the role you will work with various business areas giving you a unique insight into our business and allowing you to work with a range of our inspiring leaders across Arriva Rail London.
- This is a fast paced, data driven role where you will be exposed to a range of activities straight away; real-world, real-time work, whilst at the same time developing all the skills necessary to become a proficient analyst.
- The type of projects, tasks and responsibilities that you will take on during the role are vast but will include:
- Data analysis and visualisation – finding new ways to tell stories with and provide insight from our existing data sources, to help the business make better decisions.
- Solving business challenges using data – project work to solve issues in the business using data and making changes to processes, systems and skills to embed data driven decision making.
- Identify root causes of adverse performance, looking for patterns, trends and anomalies in data. Working with different areas of the team to provide analytical support and assist with projects.
- Supporting and helping shape the delivery of our data strategy – this strategy focuses on the build out of our data warehouse, the improvement of processes around data and improvement of the data skills of colleagues.
