REQUIREMENTS

• 5-7 years in business analysis, data analysis, or related roles within financial services. Banking experience preferred.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to liquidity reporting and wholesale banking products including Loans/Corporate Loans, Cards, Mortgages, Securities (Structured Notes, OTC Derivatives is a plus)
• Understanding of Risk and Compliance and ability to work with trade and position level data.
• Proficient in SQL with ability to handle business and data analysis, query data in SQL, and tell a compelling story about the issue or project in question.
• Advanced Excel skills (Python experience is a plus)
• Big data - Hive/Hue/Presto
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities possessing ability to adapt to changing regulatory landscapes and business requirements.
• Experience managing projects using various methodologies with ability to work closely with multi-functional teams.
• Experience building presentations and reports for senior leaders. Possessing effective communication in both written and verbal communication.
• Flexibility in accommodating various tasks and strong time management skills is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and enhance data quality across systems.
• Participate in, and provide insights during, strategic discussions on data sourcing of various systems. Preparing and communicating recommendations and status reports for senior leaders on regulatory projects.
• Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify gaps, discrepancies, and improvement areas. Validate data to summarize issues, recommend solutions, and resolve data-related problems promptly. Ensure consistency and accuracy of data between different systems and sources; and track the origin and movement of data across various systems to ensure accuracy and integrity.
