WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team to deliver technical analytics solutions, enabling our entire business to be data-driven in their decision making. The Data Analytics team under the Technology and Product organization empowers teams across Currenxie to make data-informed decisions through self-service analytics, business analysis, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders. We build foundational data products and employ a diverse toolkit of analytical approaches to guide decision making.
You will be working closely with various stakeholders across the business including Product, Technology, Marketing, Compliance, Operations, and Finance. Reporting to the Data Analytics Lead, you will be given the freedom to make decisions with the corresponding responsibility and accountability that comes with this.
This role leverages a dynamic hybrid work approach, with 3 days per week spent collaborating in-office to drive maximum productivity and innovation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis techniques
- Strong program and project management capabilities impacting multiple parts of the business
- In-depth knowledge of data warehousing, data mining, data modelling, data visualisation and product analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau/AWS QuickSight/PowerBI, product analytics tools)
- Strong documentation aptitude and enabling/educating stakeholders
- Passion for data-driven decision making and a desire to foster a culture of data literacy within the organisation
- Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment, while managing multiple priorities and building strong relationships with stakeholder stakeholders
- Experience in communication with global teams with different cultures and timezones
Responsibilities:
- Translate business objectives into actionable insights, clearly communicating technical concepts and operational implications to varied audiences
- Develop scalable analytics solutions that provide the essential insights needed to support agile decision making
- Partner with key stakeholders across various departments to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable data projects
- Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable reports and visualisations for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Champion a self-service analytics culture by enabling business users to access and utilise data insights independently through training and user-friendly tools
- Advocate for data governance and documentation principles to ensure compliance and mitigate different privacy and security risks for the company
