As a global Centre of Excellence, our Digital Marketing Department is aimed to further develop our digital capabilities and create synergies across the business, as well as responsible for driving customer growth encompassing all Digital Marketing actions at the service of our stores.
Our Digital Marketing division are now seeking a talented Data Analyst (Customer) to join the Analytics & Insights team.

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

  • Be a go-to expert for customer analytics needs for your stakeholders.
  • Support decision making by providing detailed, action orientated insights, continuously highlighting potential opportunities and risks.
  • Be skilled in communicating insight, both verbally and via documentation, in the most suitable, comprehensible and impactful way for your stakeholders.
  • Work with fellow analysts to create accessible, relevant and actionable reports and dashboards, using multiple sources of data.
  • Champion a culture of self service by ensuring your stakeholders are suitably skilled in how to use our analytics tools.
  • Carefully consider your approach to analytics, selecting suitable tools and techniques for solving each problem.
  • Champion a data-led approach within the organisation and support the use of data in decision making.
  • Develop relationships with your stakeholders and an understanding of their business areas, enabling your insights and recommendations to be relevant.
  • Guide your stakeholders in discussing, suggesting and establishing the most important and relevant KPIs.
  • Lead analytics projects.
  • Be a stakeholder to the data platform team, working collaboratively to develop a platform suitable for your analytical needs.

The type of person we are looking for:

  • Experience in the Customer/CRM analytics domain with a demonstrable track record in influencing business decisions using data.
  • A good working knowledge of SQL (must) and Python (desired)
  • Experience using industry-standard data-visualisation tools (Tableau preferred)
  • Experience working in a big-data environment
  • A highly numerate and analytical mindset focused on the customer and the commercial benefits of making change.
  • The ability to communicate information and concepts in a simple and digestible way for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience preparing and giving presentations to your stakeholders.
  • A passion for solving new problems and enjoy the challenge of learning new skills and furthering your understanding along the way.
  • An undergraduate level degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Physics or equivalent numerical degree - or have demonstrable industry experience.
