Description:
- Position overview: In your role as a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing complex data sets and providing insights to improve business operations, with a focus on measuring marketing success. In this position, you will partner with the marketing team while working closely with other analysts, engineers, and data scientists. The focus of the role will be to deliver a knowledge base of insights and provide direct support for the long-term vision of marketing measurement. This includes report building, handling ad-hoc requests, assessing A/B tests and experimentation, and ongoing evaluation of marketing success.
- You will contribute to the development of analyses that will guide teams in efficiently providing increasingly relevant propositions, services, and offers to their customers.
- Responsibilities: Analyse large datasets to understand the impact of marketing activity on user acquisition and retention
- Define KPIs, monitor marketing performance, and create clear reporting for stakeholders
- Translate business data requests into analytics needs while assessing what is available and what needs to be developed
- Utilise multiple data sets for ad hoc analysis to understand trends and performance across segments and provide insights for campaign optimisation
- Work closely with marketers, engineers, and analysts to improve our capability to measure the impact of marketing
- Create and present bespoke analysis, drawing clear and actionable conclusions
- Requirements: Preference for a graduate degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Information Sciences, Economics, or STEM
- 3+ years of experience in analytics, preferably in Paid Marketing and User acquisition, with a strong understanding of multiple tactics including churn, LTV, and experimentation
- Experience conducting analysis using statistical methods
- Strong experience in Google Analytics, SQL, Python, and PowerBI or other visualisation tools
- Experience setting up experimentation, measurement, and data collection in the marketing domain
