Data Analyst

DBServices helps to design, develop and support digital platforms for large and mid-sized companies in ITC, Banking, Retail, Government, Health, and other industries in Europe and Americas.

Tasks

• Integrate into our Data Team, working together with the NY Data Office, as well as team members in Paris and Porto, to elevate Porto’s expertise in this practice.
• Collecting and interpreting data from various sources to identify patterns and trends, driving insights for the business.
• Contribute to local initiatives and projects, from assessment and use case identification to data preparation, implementation, and industrialization.
• Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and challenges regarding data analytics, data reconciliation, and Power Platform solutions.
• Translate business requirements into a data workflow, dashboards, and application solutions utilizing Alteryx and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, data engineers, and developers to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Analyze, estimate, and define tasks necessary deliver the data and power platform projects.
• Drive insights to answer business questions with data and visualizations, transforming data into actionable insights.
• Ensure the maintenance and evolution of created assets throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in data management, analytics, and visualization tools.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in creating data workflows, including data preparation and reconciliation, using Alteryx or comparable data analytics tools such as Dataiku or Knime.
• Experience with Business Intelligence and data visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
• Capability to develop and maintain solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• Enthusiasm for learning about new technologies, including Power Platform and Dataiku.
• Genuine passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and assisting others.
• Willingness to travel internationally for short durations as needed.
• Previous experience in the financial sector is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (Scrum/Kanban) is an asset.
• Proficient in English, with a minimum level of B2.
• Proficiency in French is highly desirable.
