As a data analyst and data engineer, you will work closely with the Head of Digital to develop and implement data strategy for the region. You will be responsible for creating and managing data pipelines, developing data visualization, setting up and managing data infrastructure and data flow. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders including function owners, & business to support the organization’s decision-making process by presenting data-driven insights.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Analytical Tools Proficiency: Strong skills in analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
• Data Visualization/ BI Tool: Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI to create insightful visualizations.
• Database Proficiency: Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems for querying and managing data.
• Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for data processing and integration
• ETL Tools: Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar for data integration processes.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deploying and managing data solutions.

EXPERIENCE & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a data analyst and engineer or similar role for 10 years.
• Exposure to insurance and the reinsurance industry is a plus.
• Minimum of an undergrad degree in Data science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.
