Description:
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for delivery accurate and insightful data reporting to enable the company’s functional reads to make better informed decisions to help profitability grow the company. Your role will include data capture mechanisms, designing and implementing test models, analyzing large sets of data to provide clear and throughout actionable insights. You’ll work with a team and collaborate with colleagues in other departments to help our customers and the families we serve together.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of study such as data analytics, marketing research or business with emphasis in information management or 3 - 5 years data analysis experience.
• Strong relational database knowledge with the ability to create intermediate-level SQL queries.
• Experience with Excel and PowerPoint to visualize data and make it easy to understand.
• Experience with a variety of data analysis and reporting software. Python and PowerBI experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in business process and needs analysis preferred.
• Experience querying a data warehouse, data mart or reporting data store preferred

• Provide data and reports to external and internal customers that show historical results, metrics and trends, and delivering actionable insights.
• Accurately interpret data and produce clear, comprehensive written analyses, dashboards, graphs, tables, etc. for various internal and external audiences.
• Set up, maintain and continuously improve the data and reporting capabilities for departments, functions and initiatives.
• Communicate & collaborate with Program/Project Managers and functional area leaders/stakeholders to progress current strategies and strategic opportunities.
• Create various comparison models that provide management information to determine appropriate initial offering and ongoing management of distribution partners.
• Analyze new data or report requests, ensuring appropriate identification and resolution of the request, completing those within scope, communicating the results.
• Generate, analyze and summarize sales and in force data, relaying emerging trends in business.
• Deliver reports and make presentations in support of quarterly account result, company reporting, strategy execution and achievement of goals.
• Develop & execute plans, both test and actual, help define success metrics and criteria, coordinate data collection, analyze results and report outcome for initiatives.
