We are looking for a Data Analyst II. The successful candidate will produce financial and market intelligence by analyzing data, design methods for identifying data patterns and trends, and produce up-to-date reports for leadership based on the data.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Conduct “what if” analysis by leveraging Machine Learning techniques
  • Forecast KPIs using sophisticated modeling techniques
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Conduct full-lifecycle analysis for data and reports including requirements, design and implementation
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Data Science or Computer Science, transcripts must reflect:

o Technical expertise regarding data models, database and data warehouse design and development, data mining, and segmentation techniques
o Knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (PowerBI), Analysis platforms (Azure Analysis Services), desktop tools (Excel), databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redshift), programming (ETL frameworks, ML frameworks, Python, C#/.NET), and cloud data systems (Azure Fabric).
o Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
o Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyAbility to use queries, report writing, and presentation through visualization (based on audience)Ability to make audiences of different business and technical levels understand technical concepts
o Track record of planning and executing complex technical projects in a team setting (may be obtained as part of the Master’s Degree program)
o Track record of working with cloud infrastructure (may have been obtained as part of university level education)
