Description:
Chevo is hiring an experienced Data Analyst III with an active Top-Secret Clearance to join our expanding firm. Ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to developing and implementing new operational processes and procedures. This position is in Washington, DC, and metro accessible. At the appropriate time, this position may be located on-site with the client in Washington, DC.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the enhancement of the organization’s analytic capability as it addresses systems enterprise data challenges and directly align data management solutions with CISA and National Risk Management Center (NRMC) mission priorities.
- Recommend a requirements management process to include comprehensive workflows, quality control and quality assurance plans.
- Create dashboards using DHS-approved technologies on the Technology Reference Model (TRM) that maximize data accessibility, consistency, integrity, accuracy, and integration.
- Responsible for technical data collection, processing and maintenance, data management, data services, extract/transform/load, and archival, recovery, and implementation of data.
- Create and maintain a Data Dictionary Template and Step-by-Step Data Intake Guide.
- Develop processes and methodologies for data ingestion, data discovery, and data storage.
Required Qualifications:
- Top-Secret Clearance
- 6+ as a senior data analyst including at least 3 years applied to national security, defense security, or homeland security data
- Degree in a STEM field with at least 24 credit hours in of quantitative course work (including at least 6 credit hours of calculus)
- Working knowledge and understanding of the following concepts:
- Data Management, Enterprise Data Management (EDM)
- Data Science, Data Strategy, Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Cleaning, Data Validation
- Proficiency in Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) Processing, Data Collection, and Requirement Gathering; and will demonstrate proficiency in analytics software (e.g., Business Intelligence, Tableau, Esri, Microsoft Power BI).

- DHS CISA experience
- NRMC experience
