Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Data Analyst uses data to drive the creation of analytic content that supports business initiatives, provides insights into the efficacy of programs and processes, ensures alignment to goals/KPIs, tracks progression towards those goals, and leverages that completed analytic content to identify areas of success and concern for the customers we serve. This is done by developing industry-specific knowledge and forming productive partnerships that position the Data Analyst as a valued partner that is committed to our customer’s success and functions as an extension of the customer’s team.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience
  • 2 or more years of dashboard design or development experience
  • Demonstrated experience in problem solving and project management
  • Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance

SKILL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:

  • Advanced data visualization skills including dashboard development experience using Business Intelligence reporting tools
  • Advanced Microsoft skills including SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Understanding of end-to-end data flows from source system to report
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and commitment to creating high quality deliverables
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment with the ability to interface with Executives
  • Advanced analytical skills and business knowledge with the ability translate data into business insights
  • Exceptional Requirements, documentation and wireframing skills
  • Ability to think broadly and make connections to deliver data products vs. point solutions
  • Ability to build relationships virtually across multiple functional areas
  • Creative problem solver who takes ownership of their projects
  • Ability to prioritize, estimate and proactively identify value-add projects and activities

PREFERRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Experience in working at a Software/SaaS company with working knowledge of marketing, sales, professional services, and customer success business processes
  • Experience as a sales or marketing professional leveraging data and metrics to execute their job function
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to team culture in a distributed/remote environment

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, well-documented, actionable analytic content suitable for executive use
  • Partner proactively with key stakeholders to define requirements, create wireframes and release high quality data products that solve business problems and deliver measurable business value
  • Build relationships and deliver value for supported business functions
  • Function as Data Product Owner leading the design, development, testing and release efforts for new dashboards and enhancements to existing dashboards
  • Ensure adherence to defined standard process and formats for data and visualization
  • Leverage company-standard tools (including Jira) to provide visibility to progression of projects
  • Track dashboard usage and drive awareness of available functionality to ensure that customers are leveraging that which we’ve delivered
  • Understand existing reports and ad-hoc queries to produce analytics that deliver on customer needs while also increasing operational efficiencies
