Data Analyst ( Inventory Planner)

5+ years of experience as Inventory planner
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Excellent command on demand forecast and inventory optimization
Strong ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions
Knowledge of Inventory management software

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Forecast demand based on historical data, market trends, and sales projections.
• Place orders with suppliers to replenish inventory as needed.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate terms and conditions.
• Coordinate with purchase, sales, and logistics teams to align inventory levels with business needs.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to inventory shortages or excesses.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Prepare and present inventory reports to management.
• Optimize inventory turnover rates to minimize holding costs.
• Implement and maintain inventory management software and tools.
• Collaborate with the finance team to manage inventory budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Develop contingency plans for inventory-related disruptions.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory management.
