Keen Games is an independent developer and publisher with a long history of developing games for PC, consoles, handhelds, and mobile. Working at Keen Games means working with super experienced, passionate, and humble people.
This year we have successfully released our latest game Enshrouded. Now we are looking for someone who love data and is not only able to analyze data, but also capable of implementing tracking in Enshrouded. Someone who is dedicated to collecting and analysing the data that is available to us, who thinks about what additional data we should collect, who brings all the data together, so that we can make data-supported decisions in the design of Enshrouded and in our marketing efforts.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in programming with C/C++
  • Experience with SQL
  • A love for data analysis
  • Strong understanding of statistics
  • Analytical skills: strong ability to analyze, interpret, and manipulate large datasets
  • Data visualization: proficiency in tools like Grafana, Tableau, Power BI, or similar
  • Programming skills: experience with Python or R for data analysis
  • Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings clearly
  • Problem-solving skills: strong abilities to tackle complex data challenges
  • Attention to detail: high attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis
  • Business acumen: ability to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience with server programming
  • Understanding of basic machine learning algorithms and applications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Advanced degree: a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Certifications: relevant certifications in data analysis, data science, or related areas
  • Experience: prior experience in a similar role, preferably within the industry of the hiring company
  • Database management: knowledge of database management and querying, including familiarity with relational databases and data warehousing solutions
