YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) in data analysis, preferably within a logistics, supply chain, or transportation environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools like SQL, Excel, Python, R, or other statistical software.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain concepts and best practices is highly desirable.Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with ERP systems, transportation management systems (TMS), or warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Familiarity with machine learning or predictive analytics in a logistics context.
  • Advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot tables, complex formulas).

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

As a Data Analyst, you will support the logistics team by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to drive decision-making and optimize logistics operations. Your role involves working with large datasets to identify trends, generate insights, and provide actionable recommendations to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain performance.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data Collection & Management:o Gather, clean, and maintain large datasets related to logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory, and supply chain performance.o Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular audits and data validation checks.
  • Data Analysis:o Analyze logistics data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.o Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present data insights to stakeholders.o Utilize statistical tools and software to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Performance Monitoring:o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics activities, such as delivery times, transportation costs, inventory levels, and order accuracy.o Identify areas of inefficiency and recommend process improvements to optimize logistics operations.
  • Reporting:o Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management, highlighting key findings, trends, and areas for improvement.o Communicate complex data clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration:o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, operations, and IT, to ensure data-driven decision-making across the organization.o Collaborate with IT to improve data collection methods and tools and to implement new analytics solutions.
  • Process Improvement:o Identify and recommend new technologies or tools to enhance data analysis capabilities and streamline logistics processes.o Support the implementation of new systems and tools by providing data-driven insights and conducting training sessions for staff.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:o Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company data handling and reporting policies.o Identify potential risks in logistics operations based on data analysis and suggest mitigation strategies.
