SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Expert proficiency in Google Analytics 4, including implementing tracking managers, creating custom reports and explorations, understanding integration with various data management platforms like Big Query and visualization dashboards like Looker Studio and Power BI, and knowledge of e-commerce tracking.
  • Advanced knowledge in Google Tag Manager, including configuring dynamic JavaScript functions, event data layers, custom triggers, and variables, and understanding data tracking flows with various marketing and web tools such as Meta, LinkedIn, and Hotjar.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and understanding how to manipulate data using functions.
  • Knowledge of Google marketing products, such as Google Ads and YouTube, social media marketing platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn, as well as content marketing platforms like Site Improve.
  • Experience using behavior analysis tools like Hotjar is an asset.
  • Understanding of web design and development processes, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and programming languages, is an asset.
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or Marketing Cloud is an asset.
  • Strong time management and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably with a focus on digital marketing and web analytics
  • Diploma or degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field
  • Certifications or training in Google Analytics Academy is an asset
    Applicants with education credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentials evaluated by World Education Services or the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS).
    Remuneration: $72,614.62 - $96,198.96 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Track, implement, store, and manage data tracking across NAIT’s web channels using advanced analytics tools and configurations.
  • Monitor and optimize web traffic metrics, user behavior analytics, and conversion tracking to ensure alignment with NAIT’s strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to run A/B and multivariate tests, improve web functionality, and drive marketing and communication initiatives through data-driven insights.
  • Integrate various marketing platforms, such as LinkedIn and Meta, and content optimization tools into the web analytics ecosystem for seamless tracking and setup.
  • Leverage collected data to create and enhance personalized experiences for users across digital platforms.

Data Management and Compliance:

  • Ensure online data collection practices comply with all applicable legislation, including GDPR and CCPA, and maintain the security and privacy of user data.
  • Continuously monitor and adapt to industry standards and regulatory changes to refine and enhance digital data collection and compliance strategies.

Reporting and Insight:

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses and monitor website traffic, user data, and conversion metrics to identify historical patterns and opportunities.
  • Interpret and connect various digital marketing data sources and other databases.
  • Develop and maintain automated and real-time data visualization dashboards, ensuring accessibility and utility for internal clients and marketing campaigns.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for data tracking and reporting, providing strategic guidance to internal teams on leveraging data for decision-making.
  • Deliver and present data-driven findings and insights to internal teams and clients.
