Job Description
Our Fleet Services Sustainability team in Leidschendam, the Netherlands, is actively seeking a talented and motivated Data Analyst to join us. In this key role, you will spearhead the establishment of efficient offshore vessel CO2 reporting systems, analyse crucial industry metrics, and deploy impactful Power BI dashboards to propel our sustainability initiatives forward. Your contributions will not only ensure compliance with environmental regulations but also reinforce our steadfast commitment to sustainability. You can make a significant impact on sustainability practices within marine industry while advancing your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
You will design and implement robust processes for collecting, analysing, and ensuring data quality of sustainability metrics, particularly vessel emissions. Additionally, you will lead efforts in automating data workflows and transforming complex data sets into intuitive reports for diverse internal and external stakeholders. To do so you convey insights from data to non-technical stakeholders.

Your role

  • You will be responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting of vessel emissions, including Environmental Sustainability & QHSSE performance;
  • You will oversee CO2 data collection & QHSSE, review, and reporting processes;
  • You will analyse and explain emission intensity performance by correlating emissions with vessel activities, while maintaining the vessel emission forecasting model;
  • You will create and maintain Power BI dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
  • You will provide training on the use of dashboards and reports;
  • You keep yourself proactively informed about industry trends and best practices through continuous learning and participation in industry programs.

Your trackrecord

  • You have at least 2 years of proven experience in data analysis and you are proficient in Microsoft Power BI, Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint, or you have a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, or a related field;
  • It is considered a plus if you have knowledge of marine environmental regulations and sustainability practices (IMO);
  • You possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • You have excellent communication skills in English and strong teamwork abilities.
