Description:
We are looking for a meticulous Data Analyst to join our team in READING, Pennsylvania. As a Data Analyst, you will be pivotal in managing and renewing corporate insurance policies, conducting risk assessments, monitoring and tracking claims activity, and analyzing and reporting on insurance costs and claim metrics. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the insurance industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and renewing various corporate insurance policies, including property, casualty, liability, workers’ compensation, and specialized manufacturing risks.
- Collaborate with brokers and carriers to review policy terms, premiums, and coverage adequacy.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of insurance policies, certificates, endorsements, and related documents.
- Conduct detailed risk assessments for manufacturing operations and supply chain logistics.
- Monitor and track claims activity, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Liaise with insurance carriers, adjusters, and internal departments to ensure resolution of claims.
- Analyze claims data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for reducing claims frequency and severity.
- Compile, analyze, and report on insurance costs, coverage, and claim metrics to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal insurance regulations, as well as internal risk management policies.
- Work closely with internal departments such as Legal, Finance, Operations, and Human Resources to assess insurance needs and risks.

- Proficiency in data mining techniques is required.
- Strong skills in data visualization are essential.
- Familiarity with Informatica is necessary.
- Expertise in Maps API is expected.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications is needed.
- Experience with AB Testing is required.
- Demonstrable skills in analytics are necessary.
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) is essential.
- Ability to create Business Requirement Document.
- Experience in creating dashboards is required.
