POSITION OVERVIEW
Do you have a passion for leveraging data to help solve interesting business problems and a strong understanding of Estimating for Engineering and Construction projects? We are seeking a Mid-career to Sr. level Data Analyst to support our Project Controls/Estimating team to deliver analytical solutions to the team through thorough analysis of current and historical project data. In this role you will work with the business to understand challenges in estimating diverse projects in order to build analytical solutions to address those challenges. You will also gather, extract, restructure, analyze and interpret data, communicating findings and recommendations to the business and improve company standards and establish benchmarks to contribute to our success in project execution.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years in construction/engineering scheduling with resource-loaded schedules, WBS structure, and critical deliverables tracking.
- Experience in data analysis, data mining, and statistical analysis, preferably in construction or engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; technical training or related experience considered.
- Experience with Datacenters or advanced technologies preferred.
- Knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, and cost control methods.
- Proficiency in Primavera (P6) and relevant software.
- Strong critical thinking, business acumen, and communication skills.
- Estimating experience highly desired.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization using Power BI.
- Experience with Python or R in a professional setting.
- Knowledge of data lineage and ETL processes.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and schedule engineering and construction projects.
- Develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules, including activities, milestones, and critical project deliverables.
- Assess design changes and schedule impacts, updating management and clients accordingly.
- Utilize engineering, procurement, and construction knowledge to create and maintain critical path logic networks.
- Prepare progress reports, track schedule variations, and coordinate schedule revisions as needed.
- Analyze and compare project data across different markets using tools like P6, InEight, and Power BI.
- Develop data models and visualizations to support business decisions and create sustainable dashboard solutions.
- Maintain documentation of schedule submittals and manage contract requirements for schedule adherence.
