Qualifikation

  • Essential: University degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Desirable: Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in a relevant discipline.
  • Languages: Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
  • Essential: 3-7 years of experience in manipulating large data sets and building statistical models.
  • Desirable: Experience within a subscription-based DTC company or e-commerce environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in statistical computer languages such as Python, SQL, R, etc., with a strong background in data architecture and advanced statistical techniques (e.g., regression, distribution properties, statistical tests)

Responsibilities:

  • Data Mining & Analysis: Extract, clean, and analyze data from various databases and tools to support data-driven business decisions. This is done to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that can be leveraged to optimize operations and strategy.
  • Data Source Assessment: Evaluate the effectiveness and accuracy of data sources and the data collection process, ensuring high-quality and reliable data for analysis and decision-making.
  • Data Standardization: Lead initiatives to standardize data analysis practices across the company, ensuring consistency and reliability in data interpretation and reporting.
  • Custom Model Development: Develop and implement custom data models and algorithms tailored to the company’s needs, applying them to data sets to derive actionable business insights.
  • Performance Monitoring: Develop processes and tools to continuously analyze model performance and data accuracy, making necessary adjustments to improve effectiveness.
  • Predictive Modeling: Utilize predictive modeling techniques to enhance and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting, and other critical business outcomes.
  • Reporting & Communication: Regularly prepare and present comprehensive reports on data findings, model performance, and actionable insights to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that data-driven decisions are aligned with business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify and seize opportunities for using data to drive commercial solutions, enhancing the overall business strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Implementation: Coordinate with various teams to deploy data models, monitoring their performance and outcomes to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve data-related processes and implement tools that enhance data analysis and model accuracy, driving continuous improvement in data operations.
