As an active member of TELUS International, you will be in the heart of a major TELUS transformation program supporting it as a Data Analyst.
TELUS is looking for a qualified professional to fill our team’s Data Analyst position. This professional is responsible for building and maintaining optimized and highly available data pipelines that facilitate deeper analysis and reporting by the Data and Analytics department. The Data Analyst builds data processing frameworks that handle the business’s growing database.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 2+ years of experience performing data engineering and analysis.
• Proven experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and/or statistical software.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Expert knowledge of SQL-related tools.
• Dashboarding skills

• Performs data collection, analysis, validation and reporting.

• Designs, tests, and documents processes, SQL queries, and stored procedures.

• Extracts and analyzes data from various sources, including databases, manual files, and external websites.
• Responds to data inquiries from various groups within an organization.
• Creates and publishes regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports.
• Documents reporting requirements and processes and validates data components as required.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for automated data ingestion and analysis.
• Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and business teams to understand data needs and translate them into actionable insights.
