Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
We are recruiting for a temporary Data Analyst to support a new contract win for Envitia, supporting one of our public sector customers.
The temporary role requires the successful candidate to start ASAP for a 4 month contract.
As our Data Analyst, you will work under the guidance of senior GIS (Geographic Information System) staff to update and verify data layers using GIS Software, perform quality control on spatial data and raise issues with the data when identified.
This role involves working closely with the GIS software and the team to ensure data accuracy.
Training will be provided therefore no prior GIS knowledge is required but an interest in GIS and Geography is advantageous to develop your technical skills further in a collaborative environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enter and update data from various sources into designated databases, systems, or spreadsheets with a high level of accuracy.
- Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency, and make corrections or updates as necessary.
- Ensure all data is recorded following established quality standards, maintaining the accuracy and reliability of information.
- Regularly communicate progress, issues, and updates to supervisors, ensuring tasks stay on schedule.
