We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with strong business acumen and proficiency in SQL to work inside our asset acquisition team. The ideal candidate will have a keen ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights to support business decisions. This role requires a blend of strong business understanding and technical expertise to effectively pull data from databases and transform it into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs and provide solutions to support their objectives.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Use SQL to query databases and extract relevant data for analysis.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Perform data validation and ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and business intelligence.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
