Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills and a keen understanding of business analysis. You will be responsible for interpreting complex datasets, providing actionable insights, and supporting decision-making processes within the organisation. Your expertise will be essential in enhancing our data management capabilities.
As Uniquely expands, the responsibilities will evolve and change over time. The core responsibilities will centre around the following areas:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data and analytics strategy aligned with business objectives
- Develop and deliver interactive dashboards and reports that provide clear, real-time insights to stakeholders
- Drive expert analytics through Power BI and other reporting tools
- Maintenance and optimisation of the company’s MS SQL database
- Assisting in the creation of customised reporting e.g. MS Excel Dashboards for internal and external clients
- Resolution of associated technical issues and escalation of high impacting incidents where appropriate and follow through to resolution
- Development and application of Microsoft’s Business Intelligence Tools for Reporting and Analysis
- Supporting the other members of the Data & Systems team with regard to project delivery from planning through to delivery, transition and go-live
- Maintaining the compliance with database, reports, and access
- Resolving errors and issues related to packages or data or API on a day-to-day basis
- Managing day to day operation of IT systems, applications, security and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define data-driven goals and KPIs
- Liaise with internal and external teams to develop and deliver reporting & insight into the live and historical dialling & performance of the contact strategy.
- Identify and integrate the latest technologies that will provide greater efficiencies and a greater return on investment for our clients.
- Ensuring best practice use of data and compliance
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- A relevant qualification in I.T or Computer Science
- Proven experience in data analysis or a related field with a strong understanding of business analysis principles
- Experience in DTL
- Experience supporting applications. ITIL, project management and other professional certifications would be advantageous. GDPR and Data Compliance responsibility
- Experience in providing robust reporting from multiple sources
- Experience of Database management and SQL programming skills including proficiency in data queries and exposure to SQL database maintenance practices
- Experience in the development of MS SharePoint sites and applications
- Strong software troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and the ability to see issues through to resolution
