Description:
Job Summary
The Data Analytics Engineer will be responsible to drive process optimization through the development and implementation of advanced analytics solutions. The Data Analytics Engineer will also coordinate problem solving processes to identify and prioritize solutions ensuring and measuring business impact. The Data Analytics Engineer liaise with the site subject matter experts to understand opportunities and translate improvement solutions
Responsibilities/Description:
- Understand overall business and site needs and “translate” into analytics language for the data scientist team and the site subject matter experts.
- Drive optimization, testing and tooling to improve quality and response of the team solutions in the real manufacturing environment.
- Turn prototypes and concepts into working, production rate, solutions at scale.
- Coordinate problem solving sessions with subject matter experts and data scientists to create and improve analytics models.
- Drive digital mindset within the organization.
- Build dashboards with effective user interfaces.
Advise and participate in the implementation of an industrial Data model, oriented to Use Keys (Asset Framework)
- Support and Train the deployment of OSISoft PI on other H&B sites in transition with their A&PC architecture
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Chemical / Process Engineering)
- At least 10 years prior experience in manufacturing processes
- More than 3 years experience as Data Analytics Engineer
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills. Experience in working with large datasets, relational databases (SQL), and distributed systems (Hadoop, Hive) preferred
- 2-3 years experience in project management (Waterfall & Agile)
Training / Certifications:
- Business Translator Advanced
- Data Scientist Advanced
- 6 sigma green belt certification
- LEAN Mfg. certification
